A pink slip (also called a safety inspection report) is a safety certificate that confirms your vehicle is safe and ready for the road. When you bring your car to us, Andrew or Graham, fully licensed pink-slip mechanics, we will inspect your vehicle properly and make sure everything meets NSW road-worthiness standards.

 

A pink slip is important because:

​

1. It confirms the key details of your vehicle, including make, model, year and registration information.

2. It verifies your car is safe to drive, ticking off the essential safety items checked under NSW regulations.

3. It’s required if your rego is due and your vehicle is more than five years old.

4. It helps when selling your car, giving the buyer confidence that the vehicle has passed a recent safety inspection.

 

If your vehicle passes the safety inspection, we will send the inspection report to Transport for NSW electronically.
